Section 508c refers to the portion of the United States Federal Rehabilitation Act discussing equal access to information technology for people with disabilities. Taking Section 508 into consideration throughout the custom courseware development process allows Tata Interactive to continue to develop multisensory rich training without lessening the learning experience for users who need assistive technologies. Tata Interactive reviews the degree of technical compliance of its products as outlined in the sections, subsections and paragraphs of Part 1194 of the Section 508 standards.

A text equivalent for every non-text element is provided. Alt tags or long descriptions are provided for graphics.
Web pages are designed so that no information is conveyed only with color.
Documents are presented in P D F format and organized so they are readable without requiring an associated style sheet.
Frames have text titles that facilitate frame identification and navigation.
When pages utilize scripting languages to display content, or to create interface elements, the information provided by the script shall be identified with functional text that can be read by assistive technology.
The pages that require plug-ins provide links to appropriate plug-ins that comply with §1194.21(a) through (l)
A skip link is provided that permits users to skip repetitive navigation links.
